Children who bring props

We encourage children to bring props to their mini-sessions.  This is awesome, because you can add a lot of variety to their images and proof set.  Also their props tend to make them feel more comfortable.  Just by having a known comforting item in an unfamiliar situation can put them at ease.  Whatever the prop is, you can find a creative way to showcase the child’s personality and their prop.  It’s ok to make the prop the subject of a couple of images, but mostly we want the prop to be a supporting element — not the main focus.
