• Wear classic or fun clothing styles in SOLID or SMALL PRINTS.
• AVOID: Bold patterns, stripes, large logos, or writing.
• Deep Burgundy/Reds, Dark Greens and Navy Blue will coordinate perfectly with the set!  Gold or cream will look amazing too!
• Add layers and accessories (hats, jackets, bow-ties and jewelry).  This is a great way to add variety and personality to your images and gives your portrait depth and dimension.
• For sibling portraits– you want to look like you all belong together, but not like you are wearing a uniform.  Dress in similar tones.

A Little Preparation Goes a Long Way!

We want your child’s holiday portrait experience to be full of smiles, laughter, and a little Christmas magic! Here are a few simple tips to help us capture those beautiful, natural expressions you love.

• A good night’s sleep works wonders! A well-rested child is a happy child, and happy children make for beautiful portraits!
• Keep Picture Day low-key! There’s no need to practice smiles or spend lots of time talking about pictures beforehand. Sometimes too much preparation can make little ones feel nervous or overwhelmed.
• Skip the pressure to smile! Instead of reminding your child to “be good” or “smile pretty,” simply tell them they’re going to have a little fun with us!
• Start the day with a happy tummy! A good breakfast can make all the difference. Just be sure to wipe away those breakfast crumbs before heading to school!
• Think about comfort! Choose clothing your child can move and feel comfortable in. If something is itchy, tight, or uncomfortable, it may show in their expressions.
• Trust us to bring out their personality! Our photographers know how to connect with little ones. Whether your child is silly, sweet, shy, or full of energy, we’ll work to capture what makes them special. Most importantly, you can relax! You don’t need to coach your child to create the perfect portrait. That’s our job, and it’s what we love to do!
