Spring Portraits at A Sense of Wonder
Hello A Sense of Wonder Families!! We are super excited to create your children’s portraits on Wed and Thurs April 11-12 (the school should have told you your assigned day). Due to our lovely Ohio temperature, we are going to be inside creating beautiful memories for you on our shiplap set. Here’s what the set looks like.:
AND we will be creating Cap and Gown Portraits for the PreK little Graduates on Thursday! (see below for details)
- Wear classic or fun clothing styles in SOLID or SMALL PRINTS.
- Pastels (Yellow, pink, blue, lavender, green, & white) look fabulous!
- Add layers and accessories (hats, jackets, bow-ties and jewelry). This is a great way to add variety and personality to your images and gives your portrait depth and dimension.
AVOID: Bold patterns, stripes, large logos, or writing.
SEND: Fresh flowers, wooden toys, dolls, jewelry, a favorite stuffed animal or book, musical instrument, their lovie or anything else your child loves!
- View and order your images in your private on-line gallery.
- A typical proof set has 6-9 images.
- Share your access code with family and friends to show off your images!
- You have one week to make your selections.
Investment: 8×10’s start at $20. Packages start at $50 and are available with increasing discounts. Digital images are also available. A digital artist custom crops and enhances each image, and portraits are professionally printed on archival paper.
DEPLOYED SPOUSE PROGRAM: If you have a spouse deployed with the US Military, make note of this in the comments section when you order. We’ll send a special gift to say “Thank you for your service!”
FOSTER PARENT PROGRAM: If you are a foster parent, please let us know we will give you a 30% coupon code.
Portraits will be delivered to your school for pick up. We’ll send you an email when they are ready (within 4 weeks of ordering). Home shipping is also available (this is great for out-of town grandparents that order!)

This is a wonderful way to celebrate this momentous milestone! The kids are so full of life, confident and fun! Let us capture their BIG personalities with this special session!

WHEN: Thursday, April 12
- Your school’s caps and gowns are BLUE and will be provided by the school
- Please make sure that your child’s hair is styled to wear a cap neatly. (Please do not use large bows or other hair accessories.)
- Some of your child’s clothing may show under the gown – please dress them in a plain white shirt with no writing or patterns near the neckline.
- Shirts with collars are great, but please make sure they are neat and ironed.
- Ties for boys make a nice appearance under the gown.
- Shoes will show in some pictures.

We ask the kids what they want to be when they grow up. If you have any props that match your child’s chosen occupation… please send them! Would be adorable for a doctor to bring a stethoscope, a fireman to bring a fireman’s hat, a ballerina to bring ballerina shoes, teacher to bring an apple… etc!
