Chocolate Chip Cookies
From the Kitchen of Donna Platt Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 & 1/2 cups of light brown sugar 1 & 1/2 cups butter flavored Crisco shortening 4 tbsp. Milk 2 tbsp. Vanilla Extract 2 eggs 3 & 1/2 cups Flour 2 tsp. of salt 1 &1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips chocolate chip cookies
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375
Combine brwon sugar, shortening, milk & vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Add egg. Beat until creamy.
add flour, salt & baking soda and mix until JUST blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
Use a mini ice cream scoop for, IMO, the perfect two-bite sized cookie
Bake 7 minutes 15 seconds. (This is my magic number, Your’s will likely be a little different as ovens are different)
